We are on our 11th hour: 4 million acres of forest are lost annually, 8 million tons of trash is dumped in the ocean each year, and four in five forest fires are caused by humans, usually out of negligence. If we become more conscious of our actions we can repair some of our damage. I’m creating a game that starts the conversation for younger generations since they will be growing up around this devastation. Below The Pine is a choose your own adventure video game that confronts human’s impact on nature. While playing you encounter deforestation, animal displacement, and fire bans. The only way to save the town is to build a community that is inclusive to all the residents, including our forest friends.
